Getting started

Enable access, create an application, and make your first authenticated call in under ten minutes.

1. Get developer access

Developer access is controlled by KNOS Ops. Ask your account manager to enable sandbox on your trading customer, or use open-to-all when Ops has turned that on for the platform.

Once enabled, sign in to KNOS and open Developers in the portal navigation.

2. Create an application

  1. Open Developers → create an application (name + scopes).
  2. Copy the sandbox API key and webhook secret immediately — the full key is shown once.
  3. Optionally set sandbox webhook URL and IP allowlist.

3. Verify connectivity

4. List products then purchase

Call GET /products to discover productId values for your scopes. Then POST /transactions with a unique idempotencyKey.

5. Go live

Configure production webhook + allowlist, request production from the application page, wait for Ops approval, then issue a knos_production_… key. See Production.
